Emily and Charles have been together forever — seriously, there were photos of them as high school sweethearts on the reception tables! They finally made it official this summer, and I was lucky enough to get invited to the party. Yep, this wedding was definitely a par-tay! Even the triple-digit heat index didn’t slow anyone down. I love weddings like that, because there’s always something to shoot (and you never have to remind anyone to smile!).
First, a few getting-ready shots. (Check out the gorgeous bridesmaid gifts — pendants from Tiffany’s, lucky girls!)
The ceremony and reception took place at Brigalia’s in Sicklerville, NJ. Such a friendly staff and so many gorgeous locations for photos!
Um, did I mention the heat? Well, the bridal party didn’t complain once, even when they were standing in the sun in tuxes and black dresses.
I just love this next shot. Sigh.
Now, I have to give serious props to Emily — I love doing jump shots but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bride get this kind of air!
Perfect timing — just as we were finishing up our formal photos, a storm started to roll in. I caught this shot of the dramatic sky before we headed indoors to stay dry (and cool!).
…then it was time for the reception! I don’t think there was a minute that the dance floor wasn’t packed. And I even learned a new dance — Movin’ Like Bernie, haha.
If I haven’t mentioned it a few times already, this wedding was a blast to shoot! Thanks for making me a part of it, Emily and Charles!
