After the never-ending, freezing winter and cold, not-so-springy spring, Becca and Stuart’s wedding day was (finally!) the kind of blissfully sunny beach day we’d all been waiting for. You might remember Becca and Stuart from their engagement session at Columbia University in NYC last fall, and once again, they were awesome to work with. Becca has a contagious laugh and Stuart is a pro at cracking her up, and you can tell by looking at their photos how much fun they have together. (On that note, they also had a super-fun reading at their wedding: an excerpt from Sandol Stoddard Warburg’s book, “I Like You.” You can read a good portion of it at this tumblr. It’ll make you smile.) The ceremony was held on the dock behind Stuart’s parents’ shore house in Loveladies, which — bonus points! — just so happened to be an amazing spot for some portraits. We also made a quick trip up to Barnegat Lighthouse, where the wedding party was willing to scale the jetty in dress shoes for some photos, so a big thank you to them! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.
Then it was time for the party! Their reception was held at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences — which, FYI, is a really pretty and unique space if you happen to be planning a wedding on the island.
Thanks for choosing me to photograph your wedding, Becca and Stuart! Can’t wait for you to see the rest of the photos!
