A Picture-Perfect Day {Phoenixville Foundry wedding photography}

I was thrilled that Renee and Damo chose me to shoot their wedding. Renae’s older sister (and maid of honor) is one of my favorite photographers, Gail from Gail Anne Photography in Royersford, PA. So, as a pop-culture nerd, I have to say — it was an honor just to be nominated:)

I was even happier when I met Renae and Damo on the big day. They’re both gorgeous (I think they’re in a competition for “best eyes”), and so ridiculously madly in love that they made me get filled up a few times (yeah, I’m a softie). And, wow, they picked an absolutely stunning location for their wedding.

While the girls were getting ready…

…my fabulous second shooter Cara from Crane Photography hung out with the guys.

How’s this for an amazing location?

Renae and Damo decided to do a “first look.” I love the anticipation on his face!

The location was a photographer’s dream and the bridal party gamely followed us around the grounds despite the cold weather (and yummy hot chocolate waiting inside).

I have to say, I love every shot more than the one before!

We grabbed one last shot before the sun disappeared…

…and then it was time to GET MARRIED!

Gail took over the shooting once the reception really got underway, but we were able to capture some shots of the first dance, the cake cutting, and the all-around gorgeous setup. Check out the spotlight in the middle of the floor!

And one last shot for the road. Gotta love light-painting.

Renae and Damo, I had so much fun shooting your wedding — can’t wait for you to see the rest of the proofs!:)

    I just have to say, that first shot of her spraying her perfume on, which happened in what, 2 seconds and you caught it set the whole tone for this set for me. Fantastic moments caught- and one of my faves is the anticipation shot- and the massive hug he gave his bride-to-be after it. Perfect real emotion!!ReplyCancel
