…okay, and now for the aforementioned newborn sweetness! Meet baby Teagan. We did some lifestyle shots around the house, capturing all her newborn cuteness (and lots of snuggly moments with her super-proud big sister). So hard to choose favorites from this session, but here you go

When Andrea emailed me to set up a photo session with her growing family, she mentioned how much she loved the old wooden barn doors at Kirby’s Mill. So, I knew we’d get along swimmingly. She brought along her husband Tim and their adorable two-year-old Elana, and we took advantage of all the cool nooks and crannies at the mill. By the way, she’s eight months along in these images — can you even believe it? Try not to hold it against herIn all seriousness — I loved this session and every image from it. (And just wait ’til you see the newborn sweetness that followed…)
I’ve been waiting for Mason to make his debut — I photographed his mama’s baby shower and her belly session — and now he’s finally here! He was exactly four weeks old the day of our session, and I couldn’t believe how awake and alert and super-strong he was! And I love his expressions in the images.. Here are a few of my favorites.

Every spring, the fields in my town turn into a blanket of yellow wildflowers — I have no idea what kind, because I sooo do not have a green thumb, but I can tell you it’s amazingly pretty while it lasts. Unfortunately the flowers only stick around for a week or two (and then the pollen attacks!) but we managed to time it perfectly last week for a mini-session with Isabella and Sofia. All I can say is WOW, I just love these shots! These two sisters are natural-born supermodels anyway, and the bright colors just give me that happy spring vibe. I couldn’t resist ordering a canvas sample of the first image for my studio!
Hmmm, I feel like I’ve lucked out with adorable brothers lately! These boys had me laughing for the entire session. We started in the studio, where big bro Thomas instructed Gavin on how to pose, and they told me how psyched they were to meet the Easter Bunny…
…then we headed over to Kirby’s Mill, where we got some great shots in between their relentless pursuit of a mallard duck that swam over to us mid-shootI love that these photos catch their goofy personalities and their total boy-ness!
