What makes Kiwi different?
Kara at Kiwi Photography is a custom photographer in Medford, NJ. Sessions are held on location in your home, your backyard, the beach, the park, or a favorite local landmark. I tailor your session to suit you and your family, so your portraits won’t look like everyone else’s — they’ll capture your style and personality. Sessions are totally relaxed, and your family will actually have FUN at our shoot!
What you’ll get
I like to block out two hours for your session. It probably won’t take that long, but it’s nice to have some breathing room. About 7-10 days after your session, 20-25 fully edited images will be available for viewing and ordering online in a password-protected gallery. Share the link with your family and friends!
What you WON’T get
Crowded waiting rooms. Other kids’ germs. The words “we’re running behind schedule today.” Cheesy backdrops. Stiff poses. Fake smiles. Snap decisions. Cookie-cutter pictures.
What to wear
I love bright colors, comfy jeans, lots of layers, fun hats, quirky accessories — anything your kids feel happy in. Please avoid clothing with words or logos, which can be distracting. Kids don’t have to match, but try to coordinate (think color wheel: orange and blue, pale pink and lime green, yellow and violet). If the room where you’ll be displaying your photo has a bold color scheme, wear neutrals or choose a complementary color.
What to bring
Feel free to bring some family artifacts — a favorite stuffed animal, funky hats, a guitar case, an heirloom quilt — anything that brings your home into the photos. For newborns, I have a collection of hats, headbands, and blankets, but I love when clients add their own personal touches!
Just in case…
Tantrums happen, so I offer a “meltdown guarantee.” If the tears haven’t stopped after 30 minutes, you can reschedule at no charge.
