Usually, the bride’s house is a flurry of activity in the hours before a wedding. So I was surprised when I walked into Lora’s house and found her chillin’ on the couch — seriously, there’s no other word for it besides chillin’ — snapping camera-phone pics of her already-dressed bridesmaids. Oh, and her wedding dress was hung in the perfect spot on the window with soft light beaming in behind it. (And you should’ve seen the look on the priest’s face when the limo rolled up 20 minutes before the ceremony was scheduled to start. “The BRIDE is EARLY?!” he asked.)
Anyway. Even beyond being the most insanely prepared newlyweds-to-be in history, Lora and Charles were awesome to work with. They did a fun “sort-of-first-look” before the wedding, snapping a few pics together without actually seeing each other. Then it was off to the ceremony at Our Lady of Sorrows in Linwood, followed by photos on the beach and boardwalk in Ocean City, then back to the Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor City for the reception. Yep, you need to be pretty organized to pull that schedule off.
A few favorites from the day…

Here are the “no first look” shots…![]()

Gorgeous lighting in this church — dark in the pews, skylight over the altar.

Off to the O.C. boardwalk!

Everyone braved the midday sun (it was HOT!) for some fun photos on the beach…

…then back to the boardwalk for a few last shots…

…before heading to the reception.

Love these sparkler shots!

Thanks for choosing me to shoot your wedding, Lora and Charles!![]()
