The K Family | South Jersey Family Portrait Photographer

I always allow plenty of time at my sessions, so kids can warm up to the hyperactive stranger with the giant black camera around her neck (that would be me!). But I swear it took us about three seconds to have a gallery’s worth of images from the K family. Lila and Luka were pros — okay, not technically, but they should be. And they brought along their photogenic parents, too:)Here are a few favorites from their session…

I just love the light in these…

Thanks K family!

Keri and Emma | Sisters Session | Medford NJ Senior Portrait Photographer

Raise your hand if you hated your senior portrait. My hand is way up in the air. Somewhere in my keepsake box, there’s a yearbook photo of me wearing a navy blue faux-gown and casually holding a rose against my shoulder. You know, just the average day in the life of a high school senior. Blah.

Twin sisters Keri and Emma are graduating this year but weren’t huge fans of their stuffy school pics either. So they asked me to do a more fun, unconventional senior portrait session. We headed out to Kirby’s Mill, one of my favorite local spots. Here are a few of my favorites!

I love shooting seniors — it’s such an important milestone. Whether you’re headed to college or vocational school or the working world, you’ll change so much during the next few years. Senior photos are the perfect way to capture where you are RIGHT NOW, on the edge of something awesome.

Thanks Keri and Emma!:)

Set the Night on Fire | Jersey Shore Wedding Photographer

Just wanted to share this gorgeous light painting image from a wedding at Blue Heron Pines Golf Club this weekend. Many thanks to my awesome second shooter Cara for her sparkler artwork!:)

All Boy | I Heart Faces Photo Challenge

I love the I Heart Faces photo challenges, and this theme hits home for me — with two toddler boys running around, my house is ALL BOY, all the time!:)

There’s something about this photo that makes me laugh every time I see it. I think it’s the way my boys look like they’re patrollin’ the mean streets, even if they’re just playing in our backyard in the woods. And those wiffle ball bats? They’re not for playing t-ball — they are STRICTLY used for banging on our metal bilco doors as loudly as possible.

The D Family | Superhero Family Session | South Jersey Family Portrait Photographer

Oh sure, the “D” family might look like a typical family….

…I mean, yes, they’re extra-photogenic…

(…even when they’re being silly…)

…but don’t be fooled. This is no ordinary family!

They have a secret.

They’re…

…superheroes!

Love it.

Thanks for letting me capture your fun family!:)
