I got to photograph the awesome C family on a rare day with no snow on the ground! Jacob and Jaelyn were excellent models and had a blast playing in the leaves (and trying to cover me in leaves). There’s also a fun photobomb in these photos — turns out a new sibling was hiding in the family shots! Can’t wait for the birth photography and newborn session!

I got to photograph Antonio as a newborn, and he’s already nine months old — when did that happen?! He’s gotten to be such a ham and spent the whole session cracking up at everyone in the room. Here are a few of my favorite shots. Love his expressions!

You probably know someone (or are someone) who has an old-school dance portrait — totally 80′s costume, big hair, laser-light backdrop. I was going for the opposite while shooting Jess’s dance photos — I wanted to keep it simple and graceful. As a former gymnast, I had a fun time doing arabesques and trying to remember all five ballet positions (okay, so I failed). Here are my favorite shots from the mini-session!
