When I photographed the L family last summer, it was a cloudy, drizzly day. This year, we got the exact opposite — blazing sunshine! It was great seeing how the kids have grown in a year — and getting to capture a completely different set of images. Here are a few favorites.

I always allow plenty of time at my sessions, so kids can warm up to the hyperactive stranger with the giant black camera around her neck (that would be me!). But I swear it took us about three seconds to have a gallery’s worth of images from the K family. Lila and Luka were pros — okay, not technically, but they should be. And they brought along their photogenic parents, tooHere are a few favorites from their session…

I loved seeing how much Will and Jake had grown since our last session…but those aren’t the “big changes” I’m talking about! When I did the “A” family’s portraits a few weeks ago, they were just days away from a move and expecting a new bundle in the summer! Here are a few favorites from our session. I love how much fun they’re having (and the natural “Blue Steel” pose from the furriest family member.)
